Assessments in the cab. Reports ready on the road.
GPS-tagged observations, 3-tap severity flow, and structured HTML report generation — designed for use in the vehicle during live driving assessments.
Built for the road, not the office.
Tagged observations
Each observation is automatically tagged with GPS coordinates and timestamp for accurate location records throughout the assessment.
3-tap severity flow
Rapid observation entry — tap the category, tap the severity, done. Designed for single-handed use while assessing.
Structured HTML output
Generate a clean, printable assessment report with all observations, GPS data, and timestamps — ready before leaving the vehicle.
Mobile-first design
Built specifically for phone use in the cab. Large touch targets, minimal navigation, works on any mobile browser.
For IT & Procurement
Where is data stored?
Assessment records are stored on a UK-hosted server (AWS London region) as JSON files. No shared database or third-party data store is used. There are no analytics trackers or telemetry of any kind.
How is access controlled?
Drive-Aid does not require individual user accounts — it is designed for closed internal use. For maximum data control it can be deployed on your own internal network rather than the cloud-hosted version.
Does it work without internet?
Core observation capture works with intermittent connectivity. GPS tagging uses the device's built-in location services and does not require internet access. Report generation and saving require a connection to the server.
What are the infrastructure requirements?
Clients need only a modern mobile browser — no app installation, plugins, or MDM profile required. The backend runs on Node.js and is lightweight enough to run on a single VM or server.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Data is stored on UK servers and is not shared with any third parties. There are no analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or telemetry. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request — contact [email protected].
